Nature's Variety: We now carry Nature's Variety Kibble, Raw and Can diet food for dogs. Kane has been eating a mixture of kibble and raw for the past 3 weeks and his coat and skin have improved 100%. We feel we have made an excellent choice in choosing this food, and encourage you all to try it. We will start getting in a few other items made my Nature's Variety for you all to try. If you see something on their site that I do not have in stock, ask if I can order it in for you. In addition to the food, we also have the Turkey Jerky and Beef Jerky. Bungee Pupee: We now carry Bungee Pupee Leashes. These are a very unique concept from a local company in Friendswood. They actually have made leashes out of bungee cord. This is good on your shoulder if you have a dog that lunges and it is great starter leash for training purposes or for your daily walks. So check them out. Waiting List & No More Half Days: |

If you need to bring you dog on a day other than your usual day(s), please try and call the day before to check that we have space. Please do not just show up. Thanks...
Waiting List: For large dogs, we now have a waiting list for Wednesday & Thursday. We have one spot left Mon and Tues and 4 spots left on Friday. If you have not claimed your days yet or are not sure if you have, please e-mail me. You will be able to take up to two weeks off for approved situations, but any longer than that, you will have to give up your spot.
No More Half Days: We will no longer be offering half days, except on the weekends. If you currently are a half day customer, you will be able to continue half days until April 30th. We will make exceptions for special circumstances. Please let me know if you ever have a special circumstance and we will discuss it. |

TTouch Workshop with International Instructor Kathy Cascade

We raised $260 for CAP by hosting our TTouch Demos with TTouch Practitioner, Sharon Shoemaker.
Now we are bringing in an International Instructor, Kathy Cascade, to host a 2 day workshop. I have been told that she is a great teacher and entertains as she teaches. Kennel Cough: |
|
As most of you should already know, we had two cases of kennel cough last week, and two possible cases. There are so many strands of kennel cough, that even if your pooch has been vaccinated, he/she can still obtain kennel cough.
If your dog is coughing or you think he/she is sick, please do not bring him/her to daycare. If you think your dog may be catching kennel cough, rub your fingers up and down their trachea with just a light pressure. If it forces out a cough, then more than likely, they have kennel cough.
Usually it is just a cough with them coughing up some white flemy stuff for a week or two. But for some dogs, it turns into congestion and then can turn into pneumonia. So just be very observant if you think your dog is getting sick. If the vet tells you that your dog does have kennel cough, he/she will not be able to attend to daycare for 10 days.
Please let me know if you have any questions, and always report to us immediately if you ever find that your dog is diagnosed with anything contagious.
